
Health Canada develops a new TV ad as part of the DrugsNot4Me campaign
The TV ad, "Mirror", encourages teens to learn the effects of drugs and how they can say no and builds on the awareness and momentum from the “Fast Forward” TV ad launched last December."Mirror” focuses on the harmful physical and social effects of drugs and aims to make youth stop and think about the stark reality of experimenting with drugs and ultimately realize that a drug life can happen to anyone – even them.
The National Anti-Drug Strategy focuses on prevention and access to treatment for those with drug dependencies, while at the same time getting tough on drug dealers and producers who threaten the safety of our youth and communities. It is made up of three action plans:
